Exiting the Matrix Vs. Saturn in Capricorn

Saturn the planet of structure, status quo, responsibility, maturity, and hard work is now in ruling sign of Capricorn. Capricorn being in it's home in Saturn is ambitious, practical and materialistic. This is quite a change from Saturn in Sagittarius, which was from December 23, 2014 to December 19, 2017. Saturn entered Capricorn December 21st 2017 at 8:49 PM PST.

While Saturn was in Sagittarius we explored the less tangible side to our reality. It was a strange blend of internal and conscious expansion of how we perceive our reality within the confines and structure of Saturn. There wasn't the usual actual and tangible material evidence in this Saturn transit for many of us. It is still difficult to explain but I feel like Saturn in Sag was more experientially based and less materially based. Of course it was great for some creative projects as well. We manifested experiences with Saturn in Sag. Now we are being challenged and tested into making everything more concrete while in the midst of shifting realities. We have started our journey into moving more into a 5th dimensional consciousness or Aquarian Age with Saturn in Sag and now we are integrating it into the still existent and very persistent 3rd Dimensional, Age of Pisces, reality. It's left many of us scratching our heads as we thought we were moving into a more spiritual and creative lifestyle and now we are being forced to come back down to earth and sort out all of the mundane and boring details. All the creative vision and expansion we experienced, especially in 2017, is now facing off with a harsh reality.

Saturn in Sagittarius was kind of fun! I never thought I would use the word fun to describe something that Saturn is involved in but I am a bit homesick for the Saturn in Sagittarius energy. Saturn was very busy making many aspects with Jupiter, Neptune and Uranus through it's journey in Sagittarius. These aspects made the trip very exciting, expansive, visionary and interesting. Compared to Saturn which hardly makes any significant aspects during it's stay in Capricorn. This trip is going to be a lot less fun but more straight forward and hopefully productive in a new paradigm sort of way. Honestly, I am still not entirely sure what that means. This is a blog about figuring things out not so much knowing the end results.

Saturn entered Capricorn at the same time, or very close, to the Winter Solstice/Capricorn Ingress. This set us up energetically for a very heavy and intense winter. Unfortunately, this energy will carry through the next three years. We got hit pretty hard with the energy of facing reality and being responsible. The Moon conjunct "Ride or Die" Pluto at this time will really force us to transform and change with added emotional intensity during the next couple of years. It will be a very long Capricorn (Winter) season possibly lasting years instead of a few months even though winter is almost over as I write this. I am hoping to discover an astrological point in time during the next 3 years that the energy will lighten up. We might just have to dig a bit deeper to find the vibrance and joy that came easier to us in other times.

This brings me to the battle between our drive to exit the matrix and being forced to deal with the lingering status quo, old paradigm and slave to the matrix program we were born into. How are we going to work this? How are we going to continue our exit from the matrix when we still have to provide for ourselves and our families? We still have bills to pay, cars to drive, and food and shelter needs. Most of us still enjoy the pleasurable parts of the material 3d earth which is great. How do we live creative and inspirational lives while still managing our 3rd dimensional existence. We are in a system that forces us to be slaves to the machine. Saturn in Sagittarius provided us hope of escape and now Saturn in Capricorn is throwing the old program back in our faces. It seems a bit unfair. I think we can look at it as more of a gift to learn how to manage our new shift into a different set of cosmic rules. It's going to take a while. Nothing is going to be quick with Saturn in Capricorn unless it is destructive. It's going to take time to methodically integrate these new energies inundating our planet. We have to slow down while this planetary shift intensifies. Many of us will have to learn to let go of duality consciousness and learn to embrace a 'surrender to you destiny' approach to life. We are caught in the middle of two paradigms. I am still uncertain whether Saturn in Capricorn is friend or foe.

In many ways we are being forced to level up. The next few months, March through June of 2018, are going to throw some surprises our way as Uranus ventures into Taurus in the middle of May. Those that have very early degrees of fixed signs, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius will be affected the most. We also have an extremely intense and a real 'stinker' of a full moon on March 31st. I will write another blog post on that. We had the longest stretch of every major planet going direct that anyone can remember that lasted from January 2nd to March 7th. This made the Saturn in Capricorn energy difficult to integrate without any inner directed energy. The energy will start to shift in some different directions this spring with lingering heaviness and intensity. The rest of March is going to be shifty. We will have to ride it out until things start to become more concrete. To be continued....
